Interior Fitout Awards
ASOFIA in conjunction with National Major Sponsor, The Laminex Group is excited to announce the launch of the 2011/2012 Interior Fitout Awards. Also generously supporting these awards again is the Interior Fitout magazine.
This year’s awards program will determine the very best projects completed within Australia over the past 18 months. There is also provision for special recognition of any entry which demonstrates the most innovative use of Laminex, Formica, essastone, and Trade Essentials by The Laminex Group and also the best use of National Corporate Partner, Polyflor’s product range.
Entries will close 3 February 2012. All entries will be inspected and judged by two highly regarded shopfitters as well as being rated by the client. Award winners of each category will be announced at the 17th National Conference Gala Dinner in Fiji during 27-30 April, 2012.

Apprentice of The Year Award
ASOFIA is pleased to announce the launch of the 2011 Thomas Brown Shop Fitting Industry Apprentice of the Year Awards. These awards provide a chance to recognise the next generation of industry professionals and celebrate the high standards evident in the shopfitting industry sector.
The National Apprentice of the Year Awards are held every 18 months in conjuction with the ASOFIA National Conference. The awards culminate with the announcement of the National & State Winners at the National Conference Gala Dinner in Fiji during 27-30 April, 2012.
Apprentices from all trades within our industry are eligible, and in fact encouraged, to be nominated. References from TAFE Teachers are required and shoul be sort during November, prior to college closures (refer to the nomination instructions for full details).
Entries will close early February 2012.
